This kitchen is a recent installation of a Trend kitchen designed by George from our Horsham showroom and installed in the Dorking area. Trend are a part of the British Mereway group, offering a more refined selection of traditional, shaker and modern kitchens with all the quality of a Mereawy kitchen.
The furniture used for this Trend kitchen utilises the matt foil plain shaker door is a neutral Mussel colour. The structure of this door uses a thick shaker frame giving this door a more contemporary shaker appearance, with other design features including glass wall cabinets, exposed wall units and undermounted display units adding to this running theme throughout the kitchen.
The design of this kitchen features a peninsula island with space for breakfast bar seating. The peninsula design perfectly segments the room from the opposite living area while incorporating modern open plan living to this space. On the peninsula island wide cutlery and pan drawers provide plenty of storage while also housing the recirculating system of the Bora extracting hob. Refrigeration appliances and a dishwasher are integrated behind doors for a minimalistic and uncluttered feel.
This kitchen makes use of a host of new appliances from German manufacturers Bora and Neff. A Bora Basic induction extracting hob has been used in this kitchen to remove the need for a traditional extractor hood and to allow flexible placement as shown on the peninsula island. The low installation height of the Bora Basic means that storage drawers can be used just below the worktop reducing any unused space in this kitchen. As mentioned, a Neff N50 fridge freezer and N50 dishwasher are integrated behind doors with the a Neff dishwasher also featuring. The popular Neff N70 combination microwave has been used along with the intuitive Neff N70 Slide & Hide oven, which both have several unique features favoured by cooking enthusiasts.
One of the most impressive features in this kitchen is undoubtedly the stunning quartz worktops from Italian worktop manufacturer Okite. The Prisma Bianco shade used is a slightly off-white shade with flecks of other neutral coloured quartz helping to reflect light around the room. A German Blanco Supra sink has also been used which has been undermounted below the worktop for a seamless look. Sterling LED lighting has been used underneath all cabinets as well as the customers own elegant pendant lighting used above the peninsula island.
