Situated in a quaint Brighton terrace, this kitchen is a recent design that has maximised space through a wrap-around kitchen layout.
Designed by Aron from our Worthing showroom, this project combines an on-trend kitchen theme with eye-catching design to create a homely kitchen and dining area. In addition to the kitchen area re-shape, Aron has also designed a traditional style shower room with our fitting team undertaking a full flooring improvement throughout the kitchen, hallway, and sunny conservatory at the rear of this property.
The homely and cosey nature of this kitchen space comes from the traditional and in-vogue colour combination of Sage Green and Oak. Sage Green is the predominant colour utilised in this space, with simple Oak carcasses used for wall units and design features. The furniture used is from British supplier Trend, making use of the solid painted shaker door which boasts a robust construction that is handmade in the UK.
The layout of this space has been cleverly designed to fit all usual amenities and dining area with feature units that highlight the theme of the space. The U-Shape area of this kitchen incorporates cooking appliances, sink and storage, with a separate run housing this client’s existing appliances. A neat downlight furnishing even picture-frames the window area. Additionally, a fitted dresser has been incorporated on the other side of the chimney breast which is fitted with highlighting integrated downlights.
Throughout the kitchen, appliances have been well-placed to enhance usability of the kitchen space. A selection of premium Neff appliances has been incorporated with a single Slide&Hide oven, dishwasher, gas hob, extractor hood and microwave all featuring within the U-shape area. To create a tidy feel, appliances have been integrated and built-in to furniture where possible.
To contribute to the overall kitchen theme, accessories have been carefully considered throughout. To complement and contrast with furnishings, a combination of a White metro-tiled splashback and impactful quartz worktops have been used in this space. The worktops opted for are named Vanilla Noir and offer a stark contrast with surroundings in the kitchen. These worktops have been fitted throughout the space, with a radiused corner and drainer grooves included for convenience.
In addition to pendant lighting above the dining area, spotlights have been fitted within furniture and the cooking area of this kitchen, with extra under-cabinet lighting used below wall units. Classic Oak Karndean flooring has been fitted throughout this property, with an under-stair space converted with Oak furniture into shelving and wine bottle storage.
In addition to the kitchen this project also incorporated an additional bathroom, which has also been designed by Aron. The theme of this space is both traditional and contemporary, with Gloss Grey tiling balanced nicely with traditional cabinetry. Furniture is from British supplier Mereway’s freestanding Knightsbridge range, with a sink unit and mirrored cabinet used in the Sky Blue colour option.
The bathroom, like the kitchen makes use of wood accents with rustic shelving and Oak flooring. A spacious curved shower enclosure has been used in accompaniment with chrome brassware from Vado.
The overall transformation of this Brighton property has utilised a significant number of our tradesmen to create a new kitchen dining area and new bathroom, with new flooring and hallway storage also taking place throughout most of the ground floor. Throughout the project, lighting, electrics, tiling, plumbing have taken place as part of our complete installation service offering, that is available from a single quotation.
