If you’ve been to one of our showrooms you may have heard about one of our less well-known suppliers Trend Interiors, if you haven’t then you may be none-the-wiser about our secret supplier that has plenty to offer in the kitchen department. Trend are a British manufacturer and are part of the Birmingham based Mereway group, to whom we have been a premium retail partner for over twenty-five years now. It is through this relationship that we are able to access the extensive range of kitchens designed by Trend, with many handleless, integrated handle, slab and shaker style kitchen options. Although more affordable than a kitchen from their sister company Mereway, with Trend, there is no compromise on quality with simple and refined kitchen cabinetry and doors used to create a slightly more contemporary alternative to a Mereway kitchen.

Trend’s handless range of kitchen furniture offer a simple but effective ultra-modern kitchen option. The handleless door uses the same shape across both gloss and matt effect finishes with a number of stone effect textures also available in the form of the Milano Oxide, Milano Concrete and Jupiter door choices. To allow access to doors and cabinets, handless rails must be integrated into the furniture. These can be used in one of nine finishes, with Copper, Brass, White and Graphite painted just some of the rail options. Twelve door front colours are available for handleless kitchens with memorable finishes like Smoked Blue, Dust Grey Gloss and Fjord Green to choose from.
For a kitchen with minimal fuss and clean lines throughout the Integrated Handle option is a great alternative. Door textures are limited to a gloss or matt finish, with six neutral options for gloss kitchens and six white, grey or blue options for matt effect doors. As the name suggests, an Integrated Handle is used to operate this style of kitchen with a J curved handle built into the door used to open drawers and doors. The most impressive option from this range is perhaps with Indigo Blue matt effect door which boasts a deep and rich tone. As with most of the Trend furniture Integrated Handle Kitchens offer a simple and contemporary option for a kitchen renovation.
Slab kitchens are probably the simplest door option that Trend offer, but that definitely doesn’t mean a simple kitchen. Slab doors in fact probably have some of the most impressive colour options available and can be combined across several neutral and bold tones. In terms of finishes slab doors can be utilised in gloss, matt, soft matt, matt MFC and matt foil slab. In total over thirty fantastic colour options are available in the slab door, with matt, stone, natural wood and gloss finishes all featuring. Trend have realised that with a plainer door, many will want to dress up the simple shaped doors with a range of contemporary feature handleware, with the added option of discrete almost integrated handles also available. In many ways the range of Slab Kitchens define the Trend Interiors offering; simple kitchen furniture that can be dressed up or down as you need it to be.
Out of all the ranges Trend offer, their shaker kitchens are by far our most commonly used for our customers. The Trend take on shaker kitchens is different from Mereway’s, with Trend favouring a more modern style of shaker that boasts a simple and unfussy silhouette. It is because of this that they are an extremely popular option for a shaker kitchen, along with the fact that their choice extends to of eight different styles of shaker door. Befitting of their colourful options, a shaker style kitchen can be chosen in a number of colourways with shades like Labrador Green, Marine and Sage Green perfectly on-trend with bold kitchen options. Our customers also love some of the Cream shaker kitchens Trend offer with Porcelain, Mussel and Cashmere all featuring in recent kitchen design and installations.
